When I say everything, I literally mean EVERYTHING is included at Beaches Negril! From airport transportation, food (all meals & snacks), premium alcoholic drinks, water activities including the waterpark and even tips are all included. I can't think of too much that the cost of this vacation didn't include. There is nothing better than showing up on your vacation knowing that everything is already paid for. You won’t need to be digging in your wallets for anything- it really is the best way to have a stress-free vacation with your family!
2. Water Activities
What sets Beaches Negril apart from most all other inclusive resorts is the fact that ALL water sports are included. Not only can you sail, paddle board, kayak, windsurf, ride a hydro bike or hobie cat but at Beaches Negril, motorized water sports are also included with the cost of your stay. Your family can water ski, knee board, go tubing and take banana boat rides across the calm Caribbean Ocean! As if that wasn’t enough, glass bottom boat rides, snorkeling excursions and if you are a certified scuba diver, you can also enjoy two dives a day- all included with the cost of your vacation. For those not scuba certified, Beaches resorts offers a few different options to get you well on your way to being a certified diver. My active kids never had a moment of boredom thanks to everything Beaches Negril offered! The included motorized water activities is one of the major differences between Beaches Negril and Beaches Turks and Caicos. (In Turks and Caicos there are no motorized water sports besides glass bottom boat rides, snorkeling, and scuba diving.) In addition to water activities, you will also find some really fun land activities such as day/night tennis, beach volleyball, shuffleboard, billiards, croquet, board games and table tennis. I can assure you, your family will find plenty to do at Beaches Negril.
3. Water Park and Pool
All ages will love Pirate Island Water Park at
Beaches Negril. This beachfront water park is located on 18,000 sq ft and caters to your whole family. Little ones will love the splash park with the super fun bucket drop and the toddler slides. Even though my kids are past the toddler stage by a decade, they spent a lot of time at the bucket drop. They loved the anticipation of getting soaked by tons of water just as much as when they were younger! The older kids will love the pair of 200 ft fast and adventurous water slides. (Note that the minimum height for these is 42”.)
Everyone can relax in the lazy river while taking in the views of the beautiful Caribbean Ocean. As far as pools go- there are 7 different pools here for your family to enjoy and of course swim up bars too for all you can drink smoothies and adult libations! As a mom, one of my favorite parts of the water park and pools are the number of lifeguards stationed throughout all water areas- even the beach has lifeguards. Here at Beaches Negril, they take safety seriously and that was reassuring for sure.
4. The Beautiful Seven Mile Beach
One of the biggest draws for me which led me to choose Beaches Negril for my family vacation was the beautiful beach. Negril’s Seven Mile Beach is truly seven miles of soft white sand and clear blue water. The water here is calm and warm- just what I was looking for. I love the idea of my kids playing in the water and I don’t have to worry about huge unexpected waves sneaking up on them. Afterall, I am here to relax! The sand is also great for building sandcastles or searching the beach for shells. There are lounge chairs on the beach as well as cabanas you can rent. Not only do you get some shade with these cabanas but you also get four lounge chairs and a picnic table. In addition to that, you will also enjoy a pre-stocked cooler with water, sodas, and beers. And when you want something not in your cooler, the cabana concierge will take your order for any other drinks and food as well. These can be reserved at the beach or if you are club or butler level, you can reserve with the concierge or through your butler.
5. Comfortable Accommodations
At Beaches Negril there are 24 different room categories to choose from- reason number 99 that you need a travel agent like myself to help you decide which room is best for your family. We stayed in the Tropical Beachfront Oversized Concierge Family Suite and loved that each kid had their own bed. Then bathroom was also spacious and had 2 sinks- a great asset when you have 4 people sharing a bathroom. We loved being concierge level and taking advantage of the private lounge for check in and check out and making reservations for water sports and restaurants with the concierge staff. There are also several butler level rooms which comes with a butler for your entire stay to ensure your vacation is top notch- perfect for those looking to add even more luxury and perks to their vacation.
Some of the things your butler will do for you include:
· Make all dinner reservations, tour bookings, on property activities and spa treatments.
· Serve your favorite drinks while you lounge on the beach or pool.
· Supply a cooler stocked with your favorite beverages.

7. Sesame Street Characters
Sesame Street characters and Beaches resorts go hand in hand! You will see them roaming the resort, even making appearances at places like the kid’s club, beach and lobby area. For a more intimate experience you can have breakfast with your favorites from Sesame Street. The characters at the breakfast will go around to each table and pose for pictures with your kids while the DJ is playing all your favorite Sesame Street tunes. While this is at an added cost ($12.50/person) there are several other free Sesame Street activities such as the daily Sesame Street Parades and nightly shows. If you have a Sesame Street fan, these character encounters will be a highlight of their vacation for sure!
8. Teens will have a blast here
Don’t let the Sesame Street characters fool you into thinking that Beaches is only for young kids. There is so much for teens to do here as well. Besides all the aweseome water sports and water park, teens will love the Xbox lounge, the tween and teen hangout lounge Trench Town, and Club Liquid where they can hang out while listening to the DJ spin the most popular tunes. Adults are not permitted here from 9pm to 11pm so your teens will love the freedom away from mom and dad and with the Beaches staff present, mom and dad will feel comfortable leaving them to have a few hours to themselves. It truly is a win-win!
9. Updates and Renovations
One of the reasons I love Beaches and Sandals resorts is the fact that they are always making sure their resorts are updated and modern. You will never feel like you are in a rundown resort thanks to their commitment to keeping up with maintenance and renovations. Currently, Beaches is undergoing a facelift and adding a brand-new infinity pool, bowling alley, new Kids Club sections and food truck alley. Along with these new features in the next three years, the existing pools and common areas will also see a refresh. The biggest addition to Beaches Negril is the addition of oceanfront townhomes with private pools. These Beachfront Villas and Penthouses can accommodate up to 18 guests and are scheduled to begin accepting reservations in April 2023.

Your newborn will be in a climate-controlled nursey complete with cribs, strollers, high chairs, rocking chairs and everything else your little one could possibly need. All childcare workers and nannies are members of the International Nanny Association, America's oldest and largest in-home child care association with the highest standards. For older kids, they will enjoy age appropriate activities that aren’t just inside a building but take place throughout the resort grounds so they can enjoy the fun outdoors all while being supervised.
11. Autism Program
When it comes to caring for kids with autism, Beaches sets the industry standard. Beaches Negril is an Advanced Certified Autism Center (ACAC). All staff in the child care center are certified to care for children with Autism. It’s just not the kids camps the cater to children with Autism but also the staff around the resort. The staff at the water sports and PADI center have also received advanced autism certification so kids with special needs can feel fully included.

As a busy mom of two boys, one of my favorite things to do while on vacation is to visit the spa for a relaxing treatment (or two!) At Beaches Negril, parents will love the luxurious Red Lane Spa. It is the perfect oasis for adults looking to escape and unwind. While we were here, we took our kids to the kids camp so we could enjoy a relaxing couples massage together. Beaches has also just introduced some mommy and me treatments so kids can enjoy the spa experience with their parents.
